Out of college, my buddy and I were running a specialty cleaning business, tackling tough jobs and prepping homes for families before real estate agents sold them. We worked hard—long hours and no shortcuts to a clean home. But one day, I watched an agent walk in, check out the house, and collect a big commission.
That’s when the idea hit me: Why don’t I try that? If I put the same work ethic into real estate, I knew I could create something bigger for myself. In 2015 I got my real estate license and closed my first few deals. From the beginning, I was hooked!
Growing up in Dunnellon, my parents owned their own business, and while I didn’t follow in their exact footsteps, their determination influenced me. They started with carpet cleaning and fire restoration and eventually found a niche that supported them for decades. Watching their early struggles and eventual achievements taught me the value of hard work and influenced the kind of career I aspired to have.
After high school, I worked for my parents before heading to college in Tampa with my wife, Anna. I earned my securities license, selling insurance products and financial services to help pay for college. During that time, I had a mentor, Lloyd, whose strong work ethic and integrity left a lasting impression on me, showing me what it took to succeed professionally. Starting the cleaning business was a great way for me to develop my skills further.

Whether it’s pricing a home competitively, marketing it effectively, or negotiating the best possible deal, I thrive on the strategy and execution required to get results. Most of all, I love the satisfaction that comes from helping families move on to the next chapter of their lives knowing my efforts made a real difference.
My early experiences in the industry taught me resilience and the importance of perseverance, but it also made me realize how valuable proper training and resources are for new agents.
Now, as a member of the Agent Leadership Council (ALC) at Keller Williams, I help our brokerage provide the tools, training, and support new agents need to overcome obstacles and succeed.
Since 2015, I can see just how much real estate has changed my life. With two daughters, Eva and Lena, I have the flexibility to be very present in their lives. From dropping them off at school to attending their events, I get to truly enjoy these important moments with them while still having a career I am passionate about. When we get the chance, we love going to Daytona Beach and staying at one of our condos for a weekend enjoying quality time together. We are very involved in the community too through the kids’ school, my wife’s work at the hospital, and participating in fundraising events like 5Ks or volunteering at the humane society.

I take pride in offering more than just the basics when helping clients sell their homes. Being a native to the area, I have a deep understanding of the communities here including Dunnellon where I was raised and Ocala where we currently live. I always start by viewing a property through a buyer’s eyes, pointing out potential issues that could arise during an inspection. If something needs fixing, I encourage addressing it before we list, even if it means delaying the process. As an investor and flipper, I’ve learned a lot about what improvements can have the greatest impact on overall return, and how to avoid surprises down the road through proper preparation and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
As a family man, I understand where my clients are coming from. Selling a home is often tied to a major life transition, and I make it a priority to ensure you and your family are fully prepared for what’s next with all the support and resources you need
Sincerely,
Jason Anderson
